Ze Liu

Research interests:

(1) Processing mechanics and device application based on nanoforming

(2) Experimental techniques and methods at small scale (e.g. high-throughput technique, multi-field coupling test)(3) Physics and mechanics underlying surface/interface related phenomena (e.g., grain boundary, twist boundary, adhesion, friction and superlubricity).

Prof. Dr. Ze Liu has served as a reviewer for tens of international journals including Advanced Materials, Physical Review Letters, Nature Communications, Physical Review Applied, Small, Small Methods, Extreme Mechanics Letters, etc. He has also published 90+ peer-reviewed scientific papers in journals such as Nature, Nature Materials, Prog. Mater. Sci., Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Advanced Materials, Acta Materialia, ACS Nano, Nano Letters, J. Mech. Phys. Solids.
